Frequently Asked Questions

Dare To Evolve® Training Programs

What happens once I purchase one of the Dare To Evolve® training programs?

Once you have completed your purchase, you will be sent an email with links to your downloadable files. You can also access your files on the “My Evolution” page.

How do I login again once I have purchased the program?

Just click on “Login” on the navigation bar at the top of the page. Once you are Logged in, you will be redirected to the My Evolution Page where you will find the links to access your programs.

I've downloaded it to my computer, where did it go & what do I do now?

The way the programs are set up in zip folders (for faster downloading and less issues, especially for those with slower connections). So when you click on one of the tabs to download, the zip folder for that tab gets downloaded to your computer (check your Downloads folder on your computer).

Generally it is always easier to move any zip folders from your “Downloads” to your “Desktop” first before unpacking them (that way you don’t have to mess with it popping open somewhere else and not being able to find it). Then you double-click the zip folder and your computer should automatically unarchive it, right there. Double-click the folder and you’ll find all the files for that folder in there.

All the files are pre-named & pre-organized so that it’s super straight forward and easy to find everything in conjunction with the manual.

When you have all your folders unarchived, move them to a location of your choosing and just move the leftover “zip folders” to the trash.

Can I download the program again if my hard drive crashes or I move computers?

Absolutely! In purchasing a Dare To Evolve training program, you have access to it for life. So if you ever get a hard drive crash, move to a new computer, want it on multiple devices, etc., it’s always there for you to download. Just login on the My Evolution Page, and re-download your files. If you are not able to download, just send us an email and we will help you out.

How do I download the training program to my iPad (iPod, iPhone, etc)?

Our training programs are digital downloads. The iPad won’t allow you to download directly onto it. So what you do is:

  1. Once you have downloaded each of the zip folders (one at a time for optimal downloading time) to your computer, double click the zip folder to “unpack” (or “unarchive”) it.
  2. Then move the folders that contain the videos into your iTunes Movie library. All the files are mp4s and easily recognized.
  3. You hook up your iPad to the computer and sync it.

All the files will be automatically transferred to your videos folder on your iPad and you can then view them all from there. It’s the same as putting music onto your mobile device. And it works beautifully.

What if I have a problem downloading the program or with one of my files?

I’ve only ever had a couple people with issues around this and most of the time it seems to be when all the folders get clicked all at once to download. Going back and doing it just one at a time seems to solve it. And the downloads are fast (because they are zipped), so it shouldn’t take long, even doing it one at a time.

If you have problems with the files you’ve downloaded (especially “corrupted files”), you simply need to download that file again. The files on our server are correct and functional, but attempting to download too many at once will cause your computer to make mistakes.

How do I watch the program videos?

These MP4 videos are viewable on most computers, ipods, iphones, etc in iTunes and other media player software. Once you have downloaded the files, just double click on each individual file and it should automatically start to play on your computer.

To view them on your iPad, iPhone, etc, see above.

If you have trouble viewing them on your computer’s built in video player, we suggest downloading the free VLC Player, which is available for both PC and Mac formats.

What if I have questions about the Training Program protocol?

The first thing you should do if you have any questions about the program is read the Training Manual.

Seriously, even if you’ve already read it cover to cover, just look one more time, because things will make more sense after you’ve tried a workout or two.

If you still have problems or questions that absolutely aren’t covered in the manuals, you can contact us HERE.

What size steel clubs do I need?

If you don’t have steel clubs yet, or are looking to upgrade your collection, here are my recommendations for which weights to start out with.

If you’re just starting out and don’t have much experience with strength training in general:

  • Men – 1 pair of 10 lbs and a single 20 lbs
  • Women – 1 pair of 5 lbs and a single 10 lbs

If you exercise fairly regularly (at least 3 times a week) and have some experience with strength training:

  • Men – 1 pair of 15 lbs and a single 25 lbs
  • Women – 1 pair of 5 lbs and a single 15 lbs

If you’re an advanced athlete with a lot of strength training experience:

  • Men – 1 pair of 15 lbs and a single 35 lbs
  • Women – 1 pair of 10 lbs and a single 20 lbs

What size steel clubs do I need specifically for Club FLOW Evolution?

Hurricane Healing Mobility™

Because the focus of this program is mobility, the weight is the same whether beginner or advanced:

  • Men: single 5 lbs
  • Women: single 5 lbs

Flow Force Endurance™

With the varying repetition options (all higher in nature), you don’t need heavy weights to be challenged. If you’ve been through it once at the highest rep count, then you can certainly move up one weight class.

  • Men: pair of 5 – 10 lbs (moving up to 15 lbs when ready. Note: VERY challenging)
  • Women: pair of 5 lbs (moving up to 10 lbs when ready)

Cyclone Strength™

If you’re just starting out and don’t have much experience with strength training in general:

  • Men – single 15 lbs
  • Women – single 10 lbs

If you exercise fairly regularly (at least 3 times a week) and have some experience with strength training:

  • Men – single 20 lbs
  • Women – single 15 lbs

If you’re an advanced athlete with a lot of strength training experience:

  • Men – single 25 lbs*
  • Women – single 20 lbs*

*From a strength perspective you could probably handle the 35 lbs and 25 lbs respectively. But from a Steel Club training perspective, if you haven’t the experience yet, it would be too heavy and not give you the opportunity to get the technique smooth, which is paramount. Especially in context to this program because we are working up to flows. Go lighter to begin with the first time through and then you’ll be ready to challenge yourself with more. You will no doubt find the recommended weights, in this program, most challenging as it is.

Can you recommend a good place to buy steel clubs?

You can purchase all sizes of new Steel Clubs from Onnit HERE.
