At Dare To Evolve, it can certainly be said that we have an… all encompassing, global view regarding the interconnectivity of the various aspects of our selves, the path we walk and what that all means for translating into subsequent expression to the world at large. Here, one of the primary resources offered are fitness/movement programs that serve as grounded, action oriented “vehicles” for developing our inner qualities and fanning the flames of our continuing Life Evolution.
But doing it through our “workouts” is only one way to do so. One facet of the many that are available to us. Here at Dare To Evolve, part of the vision is to continue growing and expanding the integration of those facets. To provide more opportunities for you to connect to that which resides at the heart of you and support your ongoing journey. To bring the separate elements of “parts”, together into greater “wholeness” and unity.
And in alignment with that vision, I am most happy to introduce:
- Kathy Lucas, founder and creator of MUVZ,
- and Richard Hastings, founder and author of Dreams For Peace
Kathy Lucas has a long and deep history in Dance, culminating in an immensely rich practice that has continued to evolve and incorporate aspects of movement and fitness beyond the purely expressive art form itself. A dynamic and infectiously energizing soul, she has been teaching her MUVZ program from Japan to New York.
When I first met her a few years ago with the introduction essentially translating into: a “white” woman… teaching traditional African dance… in Japan… I thought, “I like this woman already.” And now through her MUVZ program she continues to be a rare bridge, defying boundaries, boxes and lines in the sand to empower our truest expression from within.
Richard Hastings has been an avid athlete, a physical educator and scholastic administrator taking him from North America to South America and South East Asia. In all that time, he has also been: an interpreter of Dreams. With a deep introspection, an understanding of the spirit of things and unique perspective unlike most people I have ever met, he holds a set of keys and tools that unlock, with seeming ease, the deepest reaches of our unconscious. The real genius of it? It is the most practical and tangible application of dream interpretation to our day to day lives I have ever encountered.
I met Richard over 10 years ago. It was at the time that I met his daughter… who is now my wife. While I was initially hesitant, even having become family, to fully engage with his interpretation of my dreams, I quickly changed my tune when I experienced the power of Richard’s approach. It has since become a mainstay in my personal process of growth and that of people from all over the world who seek out his services.
I’m very excited to have both Kathy and Richard contributing to our community here, as they are truly aligned with what it means to “Dare To Evolve”. I am honoured to have them sharing their unique gifts with us and bringing greater illumination to the “whole”, as we all… MUVZ towards our DREAMS!
